      1. I do remember that story and it was poetic and bittersweet Darryl. there’s no doubt in my mind as to why it was selected. It resonated with me and, I’m sure, with many many others.

    1. Hi Terry. I’m sorry they make it so difficult. All they ask is your email…and if you want to opt out of updates (new stories, etc), just click the box. They don’t spam or use you. Thanks!

    1. Thanks, Willie! Yeah, my 15 min of fame 😂 No worries about the time, sometimes it’s like drinking from a fire hose trying to keep up with everybody. There are so many great stories, poems, paintings…I hate to miss anything but it’s life today.

      1. I know, right? This year has flown by. We’re dealing with a rough winter already, the snow, the frost, the bitter cold. It’s been terrible these past two weeks, and winter hasn’t even started yet.
