Poem published

Hi WP friends, I hope everybody had a nice holiday. I took a week off from posting to enjoy the season with family and friends.

A poem I recently wrote for NTT was published today in Spillwords. I’m flattered that they thought it was good enough.

Kevin, I submitted your image after you gave me the go-ahead, but they used one of their own. Perhaps it was bc I told them it was protected by copyright and reused with permission.

Hope everyone has a nice new year’s 😎

  1. Congratulations, brother! That’s fantastic and much deserved πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Re: the pic. It might be because of the format. I guess they want it in landscape and mine are usually portrait layout. Laura had the same issue when she submitted her poem with one of her images.
Regardless, I am flattered that you wished to use mine!

  3. What a beautifully haunting poem. The imagery of autumn fading into winter is so vivid, and the reflection on time and mortality is deeply moving. You’ve captured both the stillness and inevitability of the changing seasons so well. Truly powerful writing. I’m so happy to hear that your poem has been published, it’s a well-deserved recognition of your talent.

Yes, the game was heartbreaking. Don’t know what happened. Well at least we had a great year.
